Yes — the 1-hour GoCar Tour of the Las Vegas Strip is included on the Go City Las Vegas pass.

I did exactly this. Paid nothing extra on the day.

But there are rules people learn the hard way:

• ⚠ Explorer Pass is valid 30 days from first use, one visit per attraction.
• ⚠ You still need a licence and a card for the security deposit. Free tour ≠ no deposit.

Renting for One Hour: What to Actually Expect

One hour sounds short. It isn’t nothing — but it’s tight.

Here’s how the hour really breaks down:

• 👉 15–20 min before — arrive, ID check, paperwork, insurance upsell
• 👉 5–8 min — safety briefing and controls demo
• 👉 The clock starts when you drive off, not when you arrive
• 👉 Realistically 2–3 proper photo stops, not ten
• 👉 Traffic on the Strip eats time. A red light on Las Vegas Blvd is long.
• 👉 Late return is billed by the minute at retail rates ⚠

Verdict: one hour is a highlights reel. Two hours is the actual experience.

How It Works

• 1. Book online. Walk-ins are sometimes possible. Don’t rely on it.
• 2. Arrive early at 723 S Casino Center Blvd. Check in at the side entrance.
• 3. Show a valid driving licence. Non-US visitors: bring your home licence — an IDP is strongly recommended.
• 4. Leave a security deposit — credit card or cash.

• 7. Drive off. Follow the GPS voice. It reroutes if you drift.

What You Need to Know Before You Book

Eligibility

• 📍 Minimum driver age is 21 per GoCar’s FAQ — but individual vehicle pages list 25+ for the E-Sport, V-Sport and Ryker. Confirm the age rule for your exact vehicle when booking. ⚠
• 📍 Valid driving licence required — no licence, no drive, no refund
• 📍 Minimum passenger age is 7
• 📍 Each car seats two people. Booking more than one car? Make separate reservations.
• 📍 Pregnant? These cars are small and bumpy. Ask your doctor first.

Money & liability

• 💰 Prices are per vehicle. Two people = same price. Solo = poor value.
• 💰 The state-minimum liability policy protects third parties, not you. Your rental agreement excludes renters from it.
• 💰 SLI runs $26 per rental, per day. It adds $300,000 third-party cover and caps your damage exposure at $150.
• 💰 A damage waiver is optional and charged extra. It’s the standard upsell.
• 💰 Deposit is refunded on clean return.

Cancellations — read this twice

• ⚠ Booking direct: all sales are final unless you add Trip Protection at purchase.
• ⚠ Trip Protection must be bought up front and allows changes up to 2 hours before departure.
• ⚠ No-show without 120 minutes’ notice voids it entirely.
• ✔ Booking via GetYourGuide or Viator instead usually gives free cancellation up to 24 hours before. That flexibility is often worth more than a small price gap.

How Does It Feel to Drive? Is It Easy?

Short answer: easier than it looks. Louder than you expect.

• ✔ Automatic. No gears, no clutch, no stress.
• ✔ Instant electric torque — it pulls away faster than the size suggests
• ✔ Sits low, so it feels quick even at 30 mph

• ⚠ Your passenger sits behind you, not next to you. Talking to each other takes effort.
• ✔ Turns tight. Parking is almost comically easy.
• ✔ Right-hand-side driving on wide, well-marked US roads
• ⚠ The E-Sport steers with handlebars, not a wheel. The V-Sport is an open-top roadster with a proper steering wheel. Ask which one you’re booking — they are very different drives.
• ⚠ Open sides mean wind and Strip traffic noise. The commentary can get drowned out at speed.
• ⚠ Three wheels + bumpy asphalt = you feel every seam in the road

If you can drive an automatic car, you can drive this. The learning curve is about four minutes long.
